Suspect charged with murder after woman found dead in Sudbury, Ont., home

Police charged a 34-year-old man after a woman was found dead Monday morning, GSPS said, first reported by The Canadian Press.
Officers were dispatched shortly before 7 a.m. to a welfare check on Municipal Road 55 after a loved one raised concerns about ongoing family issues, GSPS said.
Officers entered the residence after finding a family member in an agitated state, and police said a post-mortem through the coroner's office will determine cause of death respecting next of kin privacy.
The suspect will be held in custody to attend bail court, GSPS said the 34-year-old man is involved in an isolated, targeted incident among related individuals.
Authorities appealed for information as the investigation continues and asked the public to call 675-9171, with The Canadian Press first publishing the report.
