Almost all companies in large European countries feel that too much bureaucracy is slowing down. In a survey conducted by the Foundation for Family Businesses in seven EU countries, 83 percent of companies said that regulatory burdens would hinder their investments in important areas, including digitalisation and IT, expansion into new markets, their own infrastructure and employee training.
