- Charges were approved against Aman on December 1, 2025, following a December 14, 2024, stabbing in Surrey where police found two victims, one of whom died at the scene.
- An arrest warrant for Aman was granted on February 9, 2026, to facilitate extradition; police previously arrested 21-year-old Gurtaj Singh on April 15, 2025, in connection with the homicide.
- Aman is scheduled to appear in court on Monday, May 11, 2026, while Sergeant Freda Fong noted the incident was "over a personal dispute."
- Sergeant Fong stated, "We believe there are additional parties who were involved in this act of violence," indicating IHIT continues pursuing all responsible individuals to bring justice for victims and families.
