Detectives are continuing to investigate the murder of a man in his 20s who was stabbed to death outside a pub in a Surrey village.

A murder investigation is underway following the death of a man in Ewell yesterday.

He was found with serious injuries in an alley on Kingston Road near The Wheatsheaf pub around 3.30pm and was pronounced dead at the scene. Kingston Road and Chessington Road remain closed under a cordon while Surrey and Sussex Police carry out inquiries. Anyone with information or CCTV footage is urged to contact police on 101.
