Conservative support falls to new record low for second consecutive month
Support for the Conservatives has hit a record low, with only 19% backing the party in a recent Ipsos UK poll.
Ipsos' polling data marks the lowest figure since their records began in 1978, even lower than John Major's low in 1995.
Ipsos' Head of Political Research, Gideon Skinner, notes Rishi Sunak's historically poor ratings and uncertain impact on the Conservative party's wider issues.
