On September 30, 2026, the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV) approved Sun PhuQuoc Airways (SPA) to operate wide-body Airbus A330 aircraft, expanding its operating area to Europe. The approval process was completed in less than six months, exactly one year after the airline received its Air Operator Certificate (AOC), laying the foundation for SPA to develop its flight network.
Sun Phu Quoc Airways will expand its operations to Europe and Central Asia after receiving approval from the Vietnam Civil Aviation Authority to operate the wide-body Airbus A330 aircraft. Sun Phu Quoc Airways welcomes its first wide-body aircraft, expanding international connections. From November 1st, 2025, Sun Phu Quoc Airways officially commenced commercial operations. Sun Phu Quoc Airways officially launched its first flight to Phu Quoc.
