A Summerville man engaged in graphic sexual conversation with a person he believed to be a child under 16 years old and travelled to Floyd County to meet her, reports state.

Summerville Man in Rome After Trying to Have Sexual Relations with Child

Alan Scott Holbrook, 37 of Summerville, was arrested in Rome after police said he had online conversations of a sexual nature with someone he thought to be under the age of 16 years-old. Police said that Holbrook engaged in sexual conversations while asking her to send him nude photographs of herself.
