- While the province lifted its state of emergency and off-road vehicle ban, Summerland remains under a boil water advisory. Interior Health has not yet cleared the water, pending a seven-day rolling period of clear test results.
- Local events like the Penticton Peach Festival pivoted to fundraisers for displaced residents. Officials urged people to book hotel visits and support businesses, with Parmar telling reporters, "they need your help right now."
