A 44-year-old suspect was arrested after a double homicide at a Sudbury building; police are actively searching for additional suspects known to the victims.
- At 10:23 p.m. on August 29, 2025, Greater Sudbury Police Service officers responded to a 9-1-1 call reporting gunshots at 1960 Paris Street, Sudbury, Ontario, and found the bodies of a man and a 41-year-old woman inside the building.
- Investigators say some suspects fled the scene before officers arrived, and the Greater Sudbury Police Service is seeking additional outstanding suspects linked to the double homicide at the building on Paris Street.
- Police arrested a 44-year-old man in connection with the killings, and he remains in custody; officials urged the public to contact Greater Sudbury Police Service at 705-675-9171 or Crime Stoppers at 705-222-TIPS .
- The case has been transferred to the Criminal Investigations Division, which is actively working to identify remaining suspects, and police said there is no risk to public safety.
