Student from De Montfort University who died after being stabbed in Leicester named
Khaleed Oladipo, a 20-year-old cybersecurity student, died after a stabbing; an 18-year-old suspect was arrested and police are investigating a confrontation, officials said.

- Members of the public and paramedics rushed to help and he was taken to Leicester Royal Infirmary, where a post-mortem found he died from a stab wound to the chest.
- An 18-year-old was arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody, while detectives from the East Midlands Special Operations Unit Major Crime Team urge anyone with information to phone 101, quoting incident number 495 of 3 February.
- De Montfort University said it is supporting students and staff who witnessed the incident, with flowers outside DMU's Innovation Centre on Thursday morning and the family thanked emergency services and the public.
