Most jobless in Finland now structurally unemployed, EVA warns
More than half of unemployed people in Finland are now classified as structurally unemployed and will not find work even during periods of economic growth, according to a new report from the Finnish Business and Policy Forum EVA. At the end of June, 57 percent of unemployed individuals fell into this category, based on Statistics Finland data. These are people whose employment prospects remain low despite job creation and economic recovery.
