- Bandai Namco rolled out a new Elden Ring Nightreign update on June 20, introducing Everdark Sovereigns, tougher versions of existing Nightlord bosses.
- This update follows player discoveries and mod encounters of extra boss phases, which FromSoft confirmed as officially added Everdark Sovereigns.
- The first Everdark Sovereign available in online mode is an enhanced form of Adel, known as the Baron of the Night or Gaping Jaw, and can be challenged until June 25 at 8:59 PM ET.
- Defeating an Everdark Sovereign rewards players with Sovereign Sigils, which can be traded to obtain unique Relics and additional valuable items, with the quantity of Sigils earned decreasing in subsequent victories.
- Bandai Namco plans weekly rotations of Everdark Sovereigns and additional boss versions, signaling ongoing content expansion and enhanced challenges in Nightreign.
