A 4-year-old girl was attacked by seven stray dogs in the Mhetre Basti area of Pune on Sunday. The girl was playing in an open field in front of her house when the dogs surrounded her, pinned her to the ground, and began biting her.
A 3-year-old boy named Azaan, who was playing in front of his house in Altaf Plot, Hubballi, was brutally attacked and dragged by four or five stray dogs. The seriously injured boy has been admitted to the ICU of KIMS Hospital, Hubballi. The public has expressed strong anger against the Hubballi-Dharwad Municipal Corporation for not taking any action despite spending lakhs of rupees to control the dogs.
