Stormy waters ahead for Sydney tall ship on 150th birthday

Summary by Ground News
The James Craig was launched in Sunderland, northern England on February 18, 1874. In a $30 million restoration project, it was transformed from a rusting hulk abandoned in the mud of Recherche Bay in southern Tasmania. It was refloated in 1972 and unceremoniously towed back to Sydney. The celebrations came after the death last Wednesday of the ship's principal benefactor, Robert Albert of Albert Music.
