Storms leave thousands without power in Mississippi

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) - Severe storms moved through Mississippi Monday evening, causing thousands of power outages. According to PowerOutage.com, more than 13,000 customers were without power as of 7:15 p.m. on June 1, 2026. The majority of the outages were reported in Madison County, with more than 5,500 customers without power.
