According to the DHMZ forecast, Friday will bring variable cloudiness and occasional rain, especially on the Adriatic, where there will be occasional showers accompanied by thunderstorms.
ROVINJ — Not far from the popular Croatian resort Rovinj, a water slide has formed over the sea. The characteristic funnel was descending from the dark cloud towards the surface. The unusual phenomenon was captured on video shortly before the announced change of weather in the north of the Adriatic.
The long-announced change in weather conditions has already brought heavy rainfall to some places on the Istrian peninsula this morning, such as in Poreč and Labin, and the Istramet portal also brings videos of impressive leeches at sea, filmed near Rovinj and Cape Marlere.

It is gloomier in the west of the country, compared to the south and east. Clouds are gathering, precipitation is expected in the next few hours, primarily in the northern Adriatic and in Gorski Kotar, where there may be heavy showers with thunderstorms in places, as warned by the Meteoalarm system of the State Hydrometeorological Institute. -
