Ballachulish referee Steven MacLachlan has been appointed to take charge of the 2026 Tulloch Homes Camanachd Cup Final between Kingussie and Newtonmore. The biggest match in the domestic shinty calendar will be played at Mossfield Park in Oban on Saturday 19 September. MacLachlan began refereeing in 2017 and will now take charge of the sport's showpiece final less than a decade after officiating his first fixture.
