Stephen Hawking Family Breaks Silence on Epstein Files Photo with Bikini-Clad Women
The Hawking family rejected claims of misconduct after a photo showed Stephen Hawking with two bikini-clad carers; he appears over 250 times in Epstein files without allegations.
This month, the US Department of Justice included a photograph showing Professor Stephen Hawking smiling with two bikini-clad women in files related to Jeffrey Epstein.
After a major release last month revealing three million files, Hawking traveled to Epstein's private island as one of 21 scientists invited to a five-day conference, and Epstein funded research including a $100,000 grant to Marvin Minsky.
Photos previously surfaced show Hawking at a barbecue and on a submarine adapted for his wheelchair, with over 250 references to him in Epstein files and a 2015 email suggesting a reward to disprove a 'underage orgy' allegation.
Being mentioned in the files does not equate to an accusation, and Hawking has never been accused of crimes; Virginia Giuffre never directly accused Hawking and died last year, renewing scrutiny of academics mentioned in the files.
The files also show unverified tips, including a 2019 FBI tip alleging Hawking and Epstein visited an all male club in 2011, with many images lacking dates or locations, some from Little Saint James.
