Stellantis, Leapmotor to move to joint EV production in Europe, deepen partnership

The partners will add Leapmotor and Opel EV production in Spain and seek lower costs through shared parts purchasing and Chinese battery know-how.

  • Allocating new Leapmotor models to the Stellantis Madrid plant from 2028 is under consideration, with the potential to transfer the site's ownership to LPMI.
