The Stelios Philanthropic Foundation – of Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou – announced on Monday it will offer €260,000 for the families of the deceased and missing in Sunday’s ferry tragedy off the north of Cyprus, which mostly affected Turkish Cypriots.
The Stelios Charitable Foundation announced it will provide cash assistance of up to €260,000 (€10,000 per person) to the closest family members of the 8 people confirmed to have died and the 18 people still missing after the ferry sank off the coast of Kyrenia.
