Duke Energy Accused Of Overcharging Ratepayers
Duke Energy is accused by Indiana’s top utility customer advocate of overcharging ratepayers. Indiana Utility Consumer Counselor Abby Gray filed an appeal of the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission’s approval of a rate increase for Duke. Citizens Action Coalition as well as some industrial ratepayers have joined the appeal. Gray’s office says Duke over-collected more than 89-million-dollars.
