The German-French start-up The Exploration Company (TEC) wants to have developed the launcher with a payload of up to 60 tons by 2033, as company head Hélène Huby said. For comparison: The current leader Ariane 6 can carry a little more than 20 tons. Huby called the target date himself "aggressive" and did not exclude delays. In total, TEC has thus secured 680 million dollars of financing, according to company figures.
