Stankoven hoping for great turnout at Stanley Cup celebration in Kamloops

KAMLOOPS – Logan Stankoven felt the love from his hometown from a distance while his Carolina Hurricanes ripped through the NHL post-season and won the Stanley Cup.  He plans to say thanks in person on Sunday [Aug. 16] at Riverside Park, with thousands likely to be in attendance for a Cup celebration event at the Rotary bandshell.  “I think it’ll be great just to see everyone and say hi and hopefully get lots of photos,” Stankoven said. “That’s …
