Stagecoach support Armed Forces Day with free travel for veterans and cadets
The offer covers serving personnel, veterans and cadets and extends across Stagecoach services nationwide, excluding Megabus, Transport for London and the Bee Network.
On Saturday, June 27, and Sunday, June 28, Stagecoach East will provide free travel to serving military personnel, veterans, and cadets in Bedford during Armed Forces Day weekend.
The operator received the prestigious Armed Forces Covenant Gold Award in 2024 and remains a signatory of the Armed Forces Covenant, reflecting its ongoing commitment to service communities.
To access free travel, service members must wear a uniform or medals, or display a valid military ID or MoD Veteran's Badge; the offer excludes Megabus, TfL, and the Bee Network services.
Managing Director for Stagecoach East Darren Roe said the initiative recognizes the "important contributions" of those who serve, while the company employs former military personnel through its Veterans Network.
Beyond the Armed Forces Day weekend, Stagecoach offers free travel annually on Remembrance Day and Remembrance Sunday, maintaining its tradition of honoring those who served.
