Uber coming to Slovenia

The American transportation and delivery platform Uber is expected to start operating in Slovenia on May 20, the US Embassy in Slovenia announced, which is preparing a special event for that day.

A transportation platform is also available here this month.

The Ministry of Environmental Protection, Climate and Energy confirmed in April that the company intends to enter the Slovenian market, within the existing legal framework in Slovenia.

Uber, the US ride-hailing company, is coming to Slovenia. The US embassy in Ljubljana has announced it will host the event to mark the launch on 20 May.
