The Slovenian men's handball team defeated Lithuania 31:28 (18:12) in the fifth round of qualifications for the European Championship in Denmark, Norway and Sweden 2026 in Vilnius.

Uroš Zorman's handball team achieved their fifth victory in the European Championship qualifiers and confirmed first place in Group 1. They will face Estonia on Sunday in Celje. The draw will be on May 15th.
