Italy again has a ski jumping facility that meets international standards. After the Olympic ski jumps in Predazzo were completed in the last months, they could now be opened – with the presence of many South Tyrolean athletes.
Italian athletes, led by ski jumper and Nordic combined skier Annika Sieff from Val di Fiemme, today opened the renovated ski jumps HS143 and HS109 in Predazzo. These will be the venues for the Olympic competitions at the Milano-Cortina 2026 Games next year.
The ski jumping facility for the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan and Cortina was successfully tested on Monday.
