St. Joseph by-the-Sea gymnast Sophia Greaves set to join Auburn University
Sophia Greaves, 17, is the first Staten Islander to notch as high as a 9.25 in bars at the Level 10 Nationals. She also recorded a career-high 37.075 to place sixth at the Regional Championships in Massachusetts last April. Greaves' older sister, Olivia, has qualified for the USA Gymnastics National Team in recent years.
