Sporting injury led to discovery of rare cancer in brave young Wemyss Bay girl's arm
Aimee McCarter, 12, was diagnosed with bone cancer osteosarcoma of the humerus. She was diagnosed in February last year after picking up an injury at gymnastics. The schoolgirl is now in remission and recently 'rang the bell' in the Schiehallion ward at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital as her cancer is in remission.
