Leon Slater Becomes TNA World Champion At Bound For Glory
Last-minute picks point to multiple title changes and a possible surprise winner as TNA runs its biggest show of the year.
- Leon Slater defeated Nic Nemeth with a Swanton 450 to capture the TNA World Championship at TNA Wrestling Bound For Glory 2026. At 22 years old, Slater is now the youngest TNA World Champion in history.
- Defeated titleholder Nemeth had held the World Title since earlier in 2026, while also serving as one-half of the TNA World Tag Team Champions with Ryan Nemeth. Industry experts anticipated significant title changes heading into the promotion's biggest show of the year.
- Pre-Show predictions favored Francis to win the 10-competitor Call Your Shot Gauntlet, while Fabian Aichner emerged as a strong contender for the vacated Division Championship scramble. Both matches remained competitive heading into the event.
- Projections suggest Ricky Sosa defeating Eddie Edwards would effectively build Sosa's status, while experts anticipate Zoey Serrano and Shayna Baszler will likely defeat Allie and Kiera Hogan. Both outcomes would create intriguing scenarios moving forward.
- The open challenge against Moose features Max Caster as the surprise challenger at TNA Wrestling Bound For Glory 2026. Analysts assume Caster will ultimately lose the match, beginning a significant feud if Moose prevails.
