The HR debate in the SPÖ is starting – after media manager Gerhard Zeiler announced in the "Krone" that Andreas Babler wanted to contest the party's presidency, he now receives support from three former SPÖ state leaders. The former Styrian head of state Franz Voves is particularly clearly positioned.

Burgenland's ex-Landeshauptmann Hans Niessl considers the idea of a SPÖ boss Zeiler to be interesting. He does not rule out the resignation of Andreas Babler.
