Florham Park Borough Council introduces tree removal and speed limit reduction ordinance
FLORHAM PARK - The Florham Park Borough Council introduced several ordinances that would add regulations to tree removals and lower the speed limit on a section of the Hanover Road extension during its meeting on Thursday, July 16.
The Tempo-30 limit on Albrechtstraße in Steglitz remains valid. A court has declared the order of Tempo 50 illegal.
Infrastructures de Portugal (IP) proposes to reduce the maximum speed limit from 50 km per hour to 30 km per hour on the stretch of Avenida Marginal (EN6) between Algés and Dafundo, in the municipality of Oeiras.
The proposal is included in the noise action plan of Infraestruturas de Portugal, which is currently under public consultation. Residents complain mainly about the speed on that stretch between Algés and Dafundo, in Oeiras.
