Special Visit to vágur: Roysningur in the Fjord

The people of Vágur had to rub their eyes one extra time this morning, when they saw a large roysning lying west of the sand in Vágur.  The right whale, or horse whale (Nordic horse whale), usually lives north in the cold Arctic Ocean and is therefore not a common sight on our way.  It's a big animal. The brims will be more than three meters long, the openings slightly smaller.
