On the eve of the Sacred Defense Commemoration Week, the Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Greater Tehran announced the holding of a large exercise and gathering of people who sacrificed their lives in Iran on Friday, September 17 (tomorrow).
On September 12, Hassanzadeh, the commander of the Tehran IRGC, gave a press conference outlining some of the plans for the event, which focused on the defense of Tehran. He said, “This exercise is not limited to the organized, self-sacrificing forces who are ready to organize to defend Tehran, but rather, this exercise is for all people, and everyone can participate in this exercise with a flag-bearing weapon.”
Referring to the holding of the largest "Iranian Self-Sacrifice Parade" in memory of the Iranian martyr in the capital, the head of the Greater Tehran Traffic Police announced the implementation of a special traffic police plan to ensure and improve safety and facilitate traffic on Friday, September 17, 1405.
