- Judicial authorities in Elche ordered the imprisonment of the three detainees, who were brought before the investigating court of the judicial district of Elche.
- Amid legal cultivation for pharmaceuticals, said Guardia Civil spokesman Álvaro Gallardo, many illegally extract opium, which is dangerous as a narcotic substance.
