Spanish pharmacies serve an average of 800 people per week, according to the Observatory for Medicinal Products

Each of the 22,311 pharmacies that exist in Spain served an average of 789 people and the purchases made corresponded by 69 percent to prescription drugs and 31 percent to various products for health care, according to IQVIA data referring to the year 2024 and published by the Observatory of Medicinal Products.
