Elon Musk, through his SpaceX company, is preparing one of the most ambitious extensions of the Starship program, the company to develop a new complex in Louisiana. The project could turn a coastal area near the Gulf of Mexico into a center dedicated to the production, launch and transport of space vehicles.
The construction of this project, valued at US$100 billion, is scheduled to begin in 2027 to accommodate thousands of flights each year.
The complex will have ten launch platforms and capacity to bring Starship to thousands of flights annually, with the first operations planned for 2029
