Soviet Victory Day commemoration draws controversy in Vilnius
As Russia marked Victory Day on Friday, dozens gathered at Antakalnis Cemetery in Vilnius to honour fallen Soviet soldiers. The holiday is celebrated by parts of Lithuania’s Russian-speaking community, although it is viewed negatively by most Lithuanians due to its embrace by the current Russian government.

On the Day of Victory, the Hitler Army's junkies gathered in Antalnis Cemetery, where the Wolfs of the Light gave condoms to the cemetery and a garbage truck was brought to the soldiers' graves, and pictures of the car with the inscription "For nails, candles and Soviet nostalgia" were placed in Telegram by Mayor Vilnius Valdas Benkunskas.
