Soviet De Mabay: The First Power of Workers and Peasants in Cuba - CNC TV Granma

The revolutionary effervescence was so great in the working masses of the Mabay sugar plant, belonging to the municipality of Bayamo, that on September 13, 1933, 93 years ago, the general secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba, Blas Roca Calderon, ordered the formation of a soviet of workers, peasants and soldiers in that agro-industry.
