Readers may recall a letter several months ago about the decision by the Tri-Board to eliminate the “Exception Zone” for young children from the Alfred/Sarah/River Road neighbourhood resulting in these children needing to walk to school, uphill on Alfred Street (without sidewalk). Unfortunately, despite representations from many parents, that decision remains unchanged. Children are the most important asset in our society. The trustees mean well…
