Winter weather advisory for Missaukee and Roscommon counties until Thursday morning – could see 3 inches of snow
The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory at 3:50 p.m. EST on Wednesday in effect until Thursday at 7 a.m. EST for Missaukee and Roscommon counties.The weather service adds to be ready for, “Additional snow accumulations between 1 and 3 inches with locally higher amounts up to 5 inches in northern snowbelt areas. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.”
Southern Herkimer placed under a winter weather advisory until Wednesday midday
A winter weather advisory was released by the National Weather Service on Wednesday at 5:21 a.m. in effect until noon for Southern Herkimer.“Additional snow accumulations up to two inches,” can be anticipated according to the weather service. “Lake effect snowband will gradually lift northward this morning and weaken. The band will shift mainly north of the Thruway by mid morning.”
