Rodgers Signs One-Year, $22M Deal with Steelers
Rodgers will get a raise to as much as $25 million as he returns for another season, and the Steelers want him in place for OTAs.
On Saturday, May 16, 2026, quarterback Aaron Rodgers officially signed a one-year deal to return to the Pittsburgh Steelers for the 2026 season.
Reuniting with head coach Mike McCarthy, Rodgers renews a partnership that spanned 13 seasons in Green Bay before McCarthy's move to Pittsburgh in January.
The deal is worth up to $25 million with incentives and a $22 million base salary, placing Rodgers alongside Mason Rudolph, Will Howard, and Drew Allar in the quarterback room.
Rodgers arrived at the team facility and joined organized team activities beginning Monday, May 18, well ahead of mandatory minicamp in June.
The Steelers enter 2026 under new leadership following the offseason departure of longtime head coach Mike Tomlin, aiming to maintain their competitive roster foundation.
