DETROIT LAKES — Detroit Lakes girls basketball freshman Sophia Karlgaard earned one of two Central Lakes Conference Performers of the Week for girls basketball. Karlgaard went ballistic in the Lakers' 89-69 win over Rocori on Dec. 11. She finished with a season-high 27 points, hitting seven three-pointers, and added eight assists.
