(Dan Tri) - Discovering someone being swept away by floodwaters, Mr. Luong Van An (in Son La) immediately rushed out and tried to grab the victim's hand. Thanks to his decisive action, he was able to save the victim.
The General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army requested Viettel to coordinate with Military Region 2 to deploy drones to detect early areas at risk of flash floods in Son La; the Air Defense - Air Force Service, Corps 18 are ready to fly rescue flights when ordered.
From the night of July 26 to the early morning of July 27, heavy rain occurred in the communes of Song Ma, Sop Cop, Huoi Mot, and Chieng So (Son La province), causing flash floods and landslides, killing at least 2 people and leaving 4 missing.
