Nearly 130,000 people have been displaced across seven governorates in Yemen due to escalating insecurity, with many of them having been displaced multiple times, the International Organization for Migration (IOM) said on Monday.

The UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) reported that fighting between the army and Houthi rebels in Yemen has displaced more than 130,000 people since early September. UNHCR spokesperson Babar Baloch warned that the spread of the conflict could further increase displacement and humanitarian needs.
