The Sölden cable car accident will mark its 20th anniversary next Friday, September 5th. Nine German winter sports enthusiasts – including six children – lost their lives. A 750-kilogram concrete bucket, transported by helicopter, crashed onto a gondola of the "Schwarzen-Schneid" cable car. As every year, a silent, private commemoration is planned for the 20th anniversary of the tragedy, cable car company CEO Jakob Falkner told APA.
