On Tuesday (1), social movements, trade unions, the National Union of Students (UNE), political parties and civil society organizations will begin collecting votes for the Popular Plebiscite. The goal is to gather the population's opinion on the end of the 6x1 scale and the exemption of income tax for those who earn up to R$5,000. Voting is voluntary and the ballot boxes will be organized by volunteers throughout the country.
