The PSD National Political Council, meeting on Sunday, decided to vote on the 2026 state budget after analyzing “all rational arguments”, stating that this is “a budget sent to Parliament with an impermissible delay”. In a letter addressed to Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan, PSD leader Sorin Grindeanu says that PSD will support “the changes that we consider mandatory so that the budget also contains our social-democratic vision”.
