Smyrna referendum defeated by voters

Summary by Ground News
The Capital Referendum was defeated with 1079 (55%) of the 1953 voters voting against it. That part would have funded a new elementary school, upgrade an intermediate school to a middle school, and expand another elementary school. The Operating Refere referendum would have provided additional money to operate the district, including new constables and social workers.
