UPDATE: 5:00 p.m. The Anarchist Mountain Fire Department, along with the BC Wildfire Service, is responding to the second wildfire to be reported on July 16 east of the Town of Osoyoos. UPDATE 8:10 pm.: The BC Wildfire Service has moved a wildfire near Horse Creek southeast of Lake Country to held status. The fire, originally reported around 7 p.m., was moved to held status at 8:08 p.m., which means the fire remains active but is no longer projected to grow beyond its current perimeter, control line or boundary.
